Watch this movie recently, and I'm impress with what really HK Movies standard can reach. Usually HK production are just some comedy and low cost production that does not mean anything OR some very sophisticated movie where you dun even understand the story after watching it.

Instead of me writing what is the movie about let summaries it this way:-

"Andy Lau plays drug lord Jong who portrays himself as a businessman. His pregnant wife (Anita Yuen) does not know about his illegal drug business. Nick (Daniel Wu) is an undercover officer who had spent the last eight years penetrating into the core of Jong's drug sales ring and is working his way up to be Jong's closest aide and 'protege'. Meanwhile, Louis Koo and Zhang Jingchu (as Jane) plays husband and wife who are both linked with the drug business, with Jane herself being a drug addict. Louis Koo as a drug trader and the heartless husband even uses their 3-year old daughter in trafficking drugs. In her struggle to quit drugs, Jane is entangled in an affair with Nick"

Actually what I really like about this movie is its story line and lesson behind it. Let us think what really make a drug addict? Why are there so many drug addict around us and still there are no solution to it? Who is to blame ( the supplier or the user itself)?

Let us think about it ............ One of the reason I write about this movie is the word LONELINESS. It is the reason behind lots of things. Imagine how someone get into clubbing, drugs, alcohol & even mental disability when they want to escape from loneliness. I was stuck straight away when NICK (Daniel Wu) explain how loneliness can really ruin your life. It really make me ponder about how I started my addiction for nicotine. Well, time passed and there are lots more to come, life does not take twice so we need to think before we do something......
