How To Cook Candle !!!! (Mid-Autumn Festival)

It might be about a month late after the "mooncake festival" (mid-Autumn festival), there are something I would like to share here. These pictures remind me of my time in University......





STEP ONE : Get yourself a empty mooncake container (please no plastic container here!). Also make sure the container are place at a smooth surface.



STEP TWO : The fun will start here , get any available candle you can get and start lighting it up. Start burning those candles and put as many as you can (this is to get a better result later !).



STEP THREE : Ok, if you cannot get sufficient candle (any wax you can get) try to put some paper (anything that can be burn will be fine) to speed up the burning /cooking process.



STEP FOUR : Well, how to get the final result? Well, Well, after burning those candles at a very high boiling stage grab yourself some cold water. What is next... Rinse the cold water in your mouth (don't drink it) , split it into the boiling candles as fast as possible... There you will see the final excitement as the photos above.


** NOTE: Children under 12 years old please do it under parents guidance. **

it's 1.19am, i should be going to bed but there's a million things running through my head. and i thought i'd overcome the insomnia after so long...oh well, it's almost like welcoming back an old friend...

hmm, old friends...they used to tell me that friends come and go, i never used to believe them. maybe it's due to that wretched side of psyche that remains sentimental way after the time for sentimentality has long passed. it's way past due time to wake up from this...

i wanted it to last till the end, to stand the test of time. it is almost as if it is alive, nurture it and it will grow while neglect brings you naught. i for one have been most guilty of the latter through certain periods in my life, i make no excuses, i acknowledge the errors of my way. but i used to believe in redemption where the errors can be made right again.

sometimes along the way, we get lost and we hurt the ones closest to us, sometimes later on we find them again and rediscover the friendship again. but sometimes that is the end of it, people move on, close that chapter in their life and see no reason in revisiting it again.

ah, but there is no one to blame, everybody makes mistakes. it is just sad when you discover that you no longer matter in the scheme of the person's life, not even for old times sake. but the hurt could just be a simple reflection of the hurt that was initially felt when one first erred. so there is no one to blame...cest la vie

to all my friends, past, present and future and to those who are no longer friends, this is my tribute to you, thank you for having graced my life.

Farmer Village ( 农家村 )

Well, the last entry I'm talking about us walking up the Qian Long Rd. And these are what we can get when we reach this Farmer Village ( 农家村 ). Know what , we are so fortunate to met an old Lady (yes, again and a different one this time). She invite us to her house and order some authentic local food for us to try (of course we have to pay ourselves).

She also introduce us some of the Green Tea ( 龙井 ) that she sell there herself. Does those picture look YUMMY !!!! Yes, those are the food that we ordered. It taste so good and special (that is the only word that I can describe the food) , SPECIAL !





Let me try my best to introduce the food for you... 1) It is normal brinjal ok...erm !! 2) It is call vinegar Fish 3) Some vegetable with fried egg...


4) Fat Pork meat w Soya source. Sorry !! That is the best I can describe the food name...hehehe , but one thing for sure it taste real good.


After that we are serve with their local green tea (龙井) which is very nice. Actually the old lady are selling them at a very low price compare to what we get at the shop outside. Furthermore, she show us 2 different type of these green tea.

After the lunch we went to the silk factory and look at Hangzhou specialties. (which is silk) well, of course we bought some souvenir for our friends there. Finally, we went back to our hotel from the silk warehouse.

Nine Stream Waterfall (Direct translation)

OK, we are back to the trip to Hangzhou. After the west Lake we went to this waterfall called Nine Stream (or something like that in Chinese). The best part is how we end up there.

The story start like this.... While we are walking along the west lake there was this old lady (OL) looking at 2 of us and say (OL):- "Why are 2 of you walking here, there are nothing interesting to see here except the Leifeng Pagoda. Both of u should go and have a look at the waterfall and then walk up the Village and try their food...." Then this (OL) teaches us how to take a public bus to this place where we can see the Waterfall. We are so suspicious about the (OL) thinking if there are any trick in behind, but in the end we decided to try our luck.



Luckily , there are nothing hidden trick from the (OL) and we end up at this waterfall. Well, it is not the best of waterfalls which u can see in China but at least we been here rite !!!

Oh ya, we have to walk up the waterfall just only to know that there does not have anything special up there damn !!! But the best part is where we are to go later.....

This where we are going to go... We are walking the road that the QIANLONG Emperor walked before. Can you imagine how great it is... heheh.. BUT !!! We have to walk through this road for about 15-25 minutes.... Tired !!!! What we can get up there ??? That is what I ask myself while walking there... Is it worth walking for so long ??? Ok, let leave the best of what we see and eat at the village in the next entry...

Have A Break : How to Take Photos (Only in China )

Hangzhou - 杭州

Hangzhou is a very nice and beautiful city , I fall in love with the city at the first moment I landed there. (does it consider love in first sight?). The weather during this season are just nice . I strongly recommend this place as a must go holiday destination.
At the first day we went to the west lake (西湖). There are lots of sight seeing places there at west lake (西湖). Finally we decided to go to the Leifeng Pagoda near the west lake (西湖). This what we are going for -

Oh ya before we go up the Leifeng Pagoda , here are some stories about it ( hope you will understand it !).......... ????

We need to climb up to the Pagoda to get the view of this West lake I mention before. This is how the west lake look like up from the Pagoda. (Remember it is not any sea but a Lake ).

Can you imagine how nice the scenery plus the beautiful weather .


There are these painting found inside the Pagoda which worth mentioning too. There are so beautifully crafted ......
So, basically that is what we seen in the Leifeng Pagoda and will bring you all to another destination on my next entry....

**** Wonderful Trip****

Just came back from this wonderful working + leisure (a bit) trip to China. This is the first time I go to Hangzhou, China for some sightseeing before I head to Yiwu and Guangzhou to work. I fell in love with Hangzhou from the moment I step into the Hotel. The weather , people and environment are all so Beautiful.....

Ok will try my best to upload some pictures (which I took a lot) ASAP !!!!
